SEKILAS TENTANG BUKU

Fenomena pembiayaan jual beli emas syariah sudah berjalan di beberapa perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Emas memang menjadi salah satu alat tukar yang memiliki daya jual yang cenderung tetap tinggi. Perbankan syariah mulai mengeluarkan model dan mekanisme jual beli atau sistem gadai emas. Akan tetapi pada prakteknya sistem pembiayaan, jual beli dan gadai emas ini memunculkan banyak kontroversi. Bukan hanya pada perbankan syariah, perbankan konvensional serta lembaga-lembaga keuangan yang legal maupun ilegal berlomba-lomba untuk mendapatkan keuntungan dari produk ini. Tidak sedikit masyarakat yang antusias untuk menikmati produk ini karena mengharapkan keuntungan dalam investasi yang cukup menggiurkan.

Produk investasi emas baik di Perbankan Syariah atau di Pegadaian Syariah memang terlihat menggiurkan pihak nasabah dan juga pihak pemberi jasa layanan syariah tersebut. Akan tetapi transaksi atau produk jual beli emas secara tidak tunai dengan adanya polemik yang berasal dari pemahaman terhadap beberapa dalil dasar dari transaksi ini, membuatnya berbeda dengan produk lainnya. Seyogyanya produk ini mendapat perhatian ekstra dari hulu ke hilir karena kesensitifan mekanisme akad pada objek yang digunakan.
